More than 40 clinicians gathered together at the Mystic Yachting Center in April to attend the first New London-Westerly networking event. Clinicians had the opportunity to connect with colleagues past and present, meet new staff and enjoy appetizers and beverages.
Maria Russo, business development specialist, led a small committee composed of Emily Dudley, practice operations manager; Jean Murray, practice supervisor; Katie Poitras, practice supervisor; and Tracy Cottrell, administrative associate to organize the event. “Everyone was a huge help in organizing this evening, and I’m so grateful for their efforts,” said Russo. “This was truly a team effort.”
“The networking event was a huge success,” said Brian Williams, MD. “Attendance was great, and there was a pretty broad representation of clinicians from NEMG and Yale Medicine. I firmly believe these types of events are incredibly valuable in fostering a group identity across the system.”
