NEMG observes National Women Physicians Day
Northeast Medical Group observed National Women Physicians Day (NWPD) Feb. 3, 2021. First celebrated in 2016, NWPD honors female doctors nationwide and the advances they have made since Elizabeth Blackwell, MD, became the U.S.’ first licensed woman physician. This year’s observance was noteworthy as it marked Dr. Blackwell’s 200th birthday.
