Patient honors Trumbull APRN with heartfelt gift

Anne Zylick, APRN, from Northeast Medical Group Gastroenterology – Trumbull, recently received a special gift from a patient: a glass jar with the words “World’s Best APRN” on it. Inside the jar were pieces of paper indicating why the patient appreciates Zylick, including:

• She takes time to listen
• I feel very comfortable when I visit
• I feel that I can always ask a question
• I look forward to seeing her again

Zylick has been with NEMG for 9 years. James Munck, practice supervisor, said, “A gift like this is clearly indicative of Anne. The staff is so comfortable coming to her for guidance and education, and she is a true asset to the practice.”

“This was an extremely thoughtful gesture,” Zylick said. “The relationship I have with my patients is so rewarding, and I truly enjoy what I do. It’s a privilege to help others and I look forward to coming to work every day.”
