CEO Message: December 2018 - January 2019
As the year comes to a close, I’d like to wish each and every one of you a happy holiday season. Hope you enjoy this special time with your friends and family and relax, rejuvenate and celebrate the close of a meaningful year in contributing to our communities.
We accomplished a lot this year through amazing teamwork and dedication, and we have continued to achieve high patient satisfaction and quality scores, consistently ranking NEMG in the 96th percentile among medical practices nationally.
On November 29, we celebrated this success at our annual Northeast Medical Group Employee Recognition Dinner, held at The Waterview in Monroe, CT. I was very pleased that more than 100 of you were able to attend, and many made the trip from the Bridgeport, New Haven, Greenwich and New London regions. We were excited to have Chris O’Connor, YNHHS COO, as our keynote speaker.
In addition to celebrating your commitment as a team, this event provides an opportunity to honor individual employees. Congratulations to the individuals celebrating service milestones from five years all the way up to 45 years. Aligned with our dedication to patient satisfaction and quality, we also recognized select advanced practice clinicians and physicians from each region who achieved patient satisfaction ratings in the 99th percentile.

As 2018 draws to a close, please be on the lookout for information on 2019 priorities which include a renewed focus on Access for new patients, enhanced credentialing processes, enhancing the care of our employee population and improving employee and physician engagement.
