The intensivists in Greenwich Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit were honored with the Most Valuable Physician Award by the Fairfield County Medical Association for their work during the height of the pandemic last spring. The nine physicians were recognized during a virtual award ceremony during the 228th annual meeting of the association on Nov. 4. “This is an honor for the physicians and for Greenwich Hospital," said Spike Lipshutz, MD, vice president, Medical Affairs. "This team is being recognized for compassion and dedicated commitment in caring. They are being honored by their peers and professional colleagues for tireless efforts during an unforgettable time in our Greenwich Hospital history.”
