On June 25, 2020, Greenwich Hospital announced that Diane P. Kelly, DNP, RN, was appointed Greenwich Hospital’s new president, effective immediately. Kelly’s appointment follows the decision by Greenwich Hospital President and CEO Norman Roth to retire this fall. The hospital also announced that Marc Kosak was appointed the new chief operating officer, following Kelly’s promotion to president. Kosak’s appointment will be effective Oct. 3. On July 1, 2020, Babar Khokhar, MD, MBA was appointed the inaugural chief ambulatory medical officer for Yale Medicine and Yale New Haven Health. In his new role, Dr. Khokhar will work closely with the leadership at YNHHS, delivery networks and medical groups to ensure alignment across sites with operational standards to provide a single and consistent care signature.
On July 21, 2020, Bridgeport Hospital announced that Victor Morris, MD was named Bridgeport Hospital’s chief medical officer (CMO) and senior vice president for medical affairs. As CMO, Dr. Morris will continue working closely with senior leaders and physicians to advance both strategic clinical initiatives and the dual campus growth plan, improve clinical performance and ensure that Bridgeport Hospital meets the highest standards in quality, safety and patient-centered care. On July 31, 2020, Yale New Haven Hospital announced that Keith Churchwell, MD, was appointed Yale New Haven Hospital’s new president, effective Oct. 5, 2020. Dr. Churchwell takes over the role from Richard D’Aquila, who announced that he is leaving the role after nearly 15 years at Yale New Haven Health. Dr. Churchwell most recently served as chief operating officer and executive vice president for YNHH.
