Bridgeport Hospital Ambulatory Grand Rounds discusses lung cancer screening

On June 6, Frank Detterbeck, MD, and Vincent Mase, MD, presented “Lung Cancer” to an audience of 15 fellow clinicians as part of the monthly Ambulatory Grand Rounds series. Their presentation focused on the importance of lung cancer screening, findings in the National Lung Cancer Screening Trial and how the trial translates to clinical practice. Additionally, attendees discussed setting up a lung cancer screening program in the Fairfield County community.
The Ambulatory Grand Rounds series is held in the lower-level conference room at 112 Quarry Road, Trumbull, on the first Thursday of each month at 7:30 am, except July and August.
