Let's Talk about Disability: We can do this

As part of its Let’s Talk series, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion invites employees to a discussion about disability stereotypes and ableism and how advocates use the law to shatter attitudinal and physical barriers in our society. Topics will also include how healthcare services are delivered to people with disabilities.

The featured speakers are Michelle M. Duprey, Esq., director, Department of Services for Persons with Disabilities, City of New Haven; and Kathy Flaherty, Esq., executive director, Connecticut Legal Rights Project, Inc.

The workshop is Friday, Oct. 18, in the Park Street Auditorium, York Street Campus - YNHH, 55 Park St., New Haven from 10 am to 2 pm. Lunch will be provided.

All YNHHS employees are invited. To register, visit the Infor Learning Management System. For more information, contact Kristen Ohr, 203-688-5226 or [email protected].
