YNHHS announces new employee referral bonus program

Yale New Haven Health has created an Employee Referral Bonus Program based on the principle that “Good People Know Good People.” The program rewards employees for referring talented job candidates who are hired.

What makes this program different is that YNHHS employees now can refer an external candidate through a new internal jobs portal which makes the process faster and more efficient. Step-by-step instructions and program details are included in our Frequently Asked Questions.

There is a $1,000 referral bonus for all open permanent full-time and part-time positions (not per diem positions). There is a $2,500 referral bonus for selected, open hard-to-fill positions (full-time, part-time and per diem). The online portal includes the referral bonus payout for each position. To access the portal, click on the link to “Careers” at the top of this page.

All employees in good standing – including new hires – are eligible for the program, except for Human Resources staff, physicians and managers and above. Employees may make as many referrals as they want.
