Valentine’s Day at NEMG

There was no shortage of Valentine’s Day festivities across Northeast Medical Group this year. From flowers, candy and creative paper valentines shared among staff, to holiday-themed basket drawings and a “Secret Valentine” gift exchange, the spirit of St. Valentine was in abundance.

Staff from the Northeast Medical Group Multispecialty Center – Fairfield held random drawings for special Valentine’s Day baskets.

Northeast Medical Group Internal Medicine – New Haven held a “Secret Valentine” gift exchange. A few weeks prior to the holiday, staff members picked names from a hat and purchased a small treat for their selection. On Valentine’s Day, all treats were placed on a rolling cart and delivered to each employee.

“It’s a really nice way to spread some love and appreciation during these tough times,” said Heather Corcoran, practice operations manager. “Morale is boosted and the spirit is happy and motivating.”

“Our patients greatly appreciated the balloons, hearts, pink shirts and festive welcome, while the staff really enjoyed spreading the warm wishes that go with Valentine’s Day,” said Cynthia Paquette, practice supervisor, Northeast Medical Group Internal Medicine – New Haven on Chapel Street.
