Throughout February, Northeast Medical Group (NEMG) celebrates Heart Month with special events designed to help raise awareness of heart disease and stroke.
Friday, Feb. 1 was National Wear Red Day, and employees at several NEMG locations joined health system-wide efforts to promote awareness of women’s heart health by wearing red, providing information about heart disease, offering blood pressure screenings and handing out special heart-themed giveaways. Participating locations included:
