Employee Engagement Pulse Survey launches soon

Employee Engagement Pulse Survey launches soon

Employees make a difference through their daily actions and by the feedback they provide. That’s why Yale New Haven Health System’s leadership is again seeking employees’ confidential, candid feedback on the 2019 YNHHS Employee Engagement Pulse Survey, currently running now through 7 am Monday, June 3. All employees are encouraged to participate and all responses are anonymous.

This year, YNHHS will conduct a “pulse” survey – a shorter version of the full survey that should take only 10 - 15 minutes to complete. Responses will help leadership assess our progress from the 2018 Engagement Survey and understand what YNHHS is doing well and what we need to work on to ensure a great work environment.

“Employees should share their candid feedback on the survey,” said Kevin A. Myatt, senior vice president and chief human resources officer. “Not only does it help us create and maintain a positive work environment, employee feedback also helps us confirm what we are doing well, identify where there is still work to be done and measure progress from previous surveys. Employees’ insights will be used to strengthen the partnership between employees and our organization and help us create an environment that supports our collective success.”

Press Ganey, Inc. will administer this year’s pulse survey. The independent company will compile employees’ confidential responses and provide results in aggregate; no individual responses will be shared.

The employee pulse survey is open to all employees hired on or before March 4, 2019. Once it is live, employees may use any computer with internet access and follow the link that will be provided by email through Press Ganey and posted on each YNHHS organization’s main intranet landing page as well as the YNHHS HR intranet landing page. Similar to last year, employees will use a private password to take the survey. This password provides access to Press Ganey’s confidential site and links responses to the correct organization and reporting structure.
