YNHHS shows off its "heart couture"
From sweaters to socks, pocket squares to pins, red was everywhere on Feb. 7, 2020, when Yale New Haven Health employees, physicians and volunteers celebrated National Wear Red Day® to show support for women’s heart health.
Yale New Haven Hospital and other YNHHS hospitals and many outpatient locations, including Northeast Medical Group, hosted information tables, with several sites offering blood pressure screenings. Collectively, 496 screenings were provided across the system. Wear Red Day activities are sponsored by the Heart and Vascular Center.
