Our certified nutritional counselors individually assess their patients’ dietary habits to identify areas where they can improve to achieve better health. They also provide medical nutrition therapy for a range of conditions including diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), irritable bowel disease, celiac disease, osteoporosis and weight control.
The nutrition counselor provides information, educational materials, support and follow-up to help the patient make and maintain needed dietary changes. They will work one-on-one with the patient to create an individualized healthy living plan that best suits their lifestyle and medical needs.
