NEMG Community Outreach Committee members from the Greenwich region recently prepared dinner for approximately a dozen residents of Kids in Crisis in Cos Cob.
Kids in Crisis provides emergency shelter, counseling and educational programs for children of all ages who are facing family crises. Each month, volunteers develop a menu, purchase groceries and provide a warm meal for all in attendance.
“What matters most in volunteer work isn’t the hours you give, but the difference you make in someone’s life – especially those who need it the most,” said Stephanie Becerra, practice administrative associate.
