New Haven, CT—June 27, 2017– Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital has been ranked among the best in the nation for eight of its pediatric subspecialties in the 2017 Best Children’s Hospitals rankings, published online by U.S. News & World Report. YNHCH ranked in cancer (#28); cardiology and heart surgery (#42); diabetes and endocrinology (#4); gastroenterology (#32); neonatology (#29); neurology and neurosurgery (#38) pulmonology (#39) and urology (#45). The rankings for cardiology and heart as well as urology are for joint programs shared with Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.

Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital is a national leader in pediatric care with campuses in New Haven and Bridgeport. The network of seven Pediatric Specialty Centers across the region provides access to more than 35 pediatric medical, surgical and behavioral subspecialties. The centers include: West Pavilion 2, Smilow 7 and One Long Wharf in New Haven; 747 Belden Avenue in Norwalk; 5 Perryridge Road in Greenwich; 633 Middlesex Turnpike in Old Saybrook and 5520 Park Avenue in Trumbull.

More than 850 Yale New Haven Health physicians are ‘Top Doctors’New Haven, CT (May 1, 2025) – A total of 870 Yale New Haven Health (YNHHS)-affiliated physicians have earned a spot on Connecticut Magazine’s 2025 Top Doctors list. The list includes physicians from Bridgeport, Greenwich, Lawrence + Memorial and Yale New Haven hospitals, as well as Northeast Medical Group and Yale Medicine and surpasses the more than 700 providers achieving “Top Doc” status last year. The list will appear in the May issue of Connecticut Magazine.
