Dr. Varkey is responsible for the strategic, operational, clinical and fiscal leadership of Northeast Medical Group. Prior to joining NEMG, she was president and CEO of the Clinical Enterprise, a multispecialty group at Seton Family Healthcare, Austin, Texas. Before joining Clinical Enterprise, Dr. Varkey served in a number of positions at Mayo Clinic. She is an adjunct professor of medicine and adjunct professor of preventive medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, Rochester, MN. A nationally recognized expert in quality improvement, she is president and a board of trustees member of the American College of Medical Quality.
Dr. Varkey earned her MBBS (MD equivalent) from Christian Medical College, Vellore, India, and completed her internal medicine residency at the Hospital of Saint Raphael and a preventive medicine fellowship at Mayo Clinic. She has a master's in public health from Harvard School of Public Health and a master's in health professions education from the University of Illinois. She also earned her MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
Keith Tandler is lead finance executive for Northeast Medical Group. He joined YNHHS in 2008 as director of Finance, leading areas within the system's Corporate Finance department, including accounting, tax, internal control/enterprise risk, accounts payable and payroll. He also serves on several health system management groups, including the Patient Experience Council, Non-Labor Executive Steering Committee and Innovation Investment Council. A certified public accountant, Keith received an MBA in finance and management from New York University's Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Prior to joining Northeast Medical Group, Dr. DoRosario served as Medical Director for PriMed, focusing on implementing policies, procedures and best practices among the group. Dr. DoRosario received his medical degree from Universidad De Navarra, Facultad De Medicina, Pamplona, Spain and is board certified in both geriatrics and internal medicine. He completed his residency and internship at St. Vincent’s Medical Center of Bridgeport.
Before joining Northeast Medical Group, Peter Logue was Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Mill Hill Medical Consultants, the Bridgeport Hospital-based group practice, and Director and Vice President of Practice Management for ProHealth Physicians primary care group practice. He received his BS in political science from the University of Vermont and his MHA from the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University.
Aimee Derry leads practice operations in the New Haven Region and oversees Northeast Medical Group's walk-in centers. Prior to joining NEMG, Aimee was the Director of Operations for Hartford Medical Group, and Executive Director for Connecticut Medical Group, formerly an independent private practice in the New Haven area, now part of NEMG. She received her BS in Management from Merrimack College and her MHA from Clark University in Worcester, MA.
Chris Hines leads practice operations in the Bridgeport Region and oversees Northeast Medical Group's endoscopy and sleep centers. Prior to joining NEMG, Christine was the Director of Operations and Account Manager at MED3000/McKesson in Shelton, CT. She received her BS in Healthcare Management from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT.
