Sarah Schutter, CNM

Sarah Schutter, CNM, a certified nurse midwife, absolutely loves her job, especially empowering patients to actively participate in their care by providing education on evidence-based practices. Sarah believes patients benefit most from care in which they are active participants in the decision-making process. She is a warm, welcoming clinician who enjoys getting to know her patients and their support people, building a positive relationship to help them feel more comfortable and trusting throughout their care. Sarah takes care of patients throughout every stage of their lives, from routine well-woman exams, gynecology concerns, family planning, placements of hormonal contraception, prenatal, deliveries and postpartum.

Sarah earned her master’s degree in midwifery from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, Kentucky. Outside of work, she loves skiing in the winter and exploring hiking spots and reading a good book on the beach in the summer. She is board-certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
