Robert C. Deal, MD

Robert Deal, MD, is the medical director of labor and delivery at Bridgeport Hospital and assistant clinical professor of medicine at Yale School of Medicine. Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Deal has frequently been selected for entry into Connecticut Magazine’s “Top Docs” list.

Dr. Deal recognizes the importance of listening carefully to his patients’ concerns and struggles. He serves on multiple hospital committees designed to improve patient outcomes and participated in the design of Bridgeport Hospital’s electronic medical record system.

Dr. Deal graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Bridgeport Hospital, where he served as chief resident.
