Pooja Gajare, MD, a board-certified internal medicine physician, utilizes a holistic approach for her patients with an emphasis on preventative medicine. Dr. Gajare believes in using personalized medicine to empower patients to make lifestyle changes to take charge of their health and improve their health outcomes. She specializes in the treatment of chronic diseases including anxiety, diabetes, depression, sleep issues, elevated cholesterol, headaches, high blood pressure, weight loss, and thyroid disease, among other conditions.
Dr. Gajare earned her medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine and completed her residency in internal medicine at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, California, the largest county hospital in the Silicon Valley and one of Stanford University’s teaching hospitals. She is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). In her free time, she enjoys cooking Indian food, running and reading widely.
Dr. Gajare is fluent in English, Hindi and Marathi.
