Biography - Leigh-Anne Sastre, CNM

Leigh-Anne Sastre, CNM, is passionate about patient education and evidence-based care. Leigh-Anne grew up in Milford, Connecticut and graduated with her nursing degree from St. Joseph’s College in West Hartford, Connecticut. She spent 18 years working as a labor and delivery nurse and childbirth educator in several hospitals and communities across Connecticut. She has been at L+M Hospital since 2006.Ms. Sastre graduated with her midwifery degree from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky with honors in 2016. Leigh-Anne strongly believes that when you educate and care for a woman, you improve the health and well-being of her entire family. She lives with her husband and four children in Norwich, Connecticut.
