Keila Garrido, APRN

Keila Garrido, APRN, a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in adult primary care and internal medicine, is passionate about delivering compassionate, evidence-based care that supports the whole person. Keila believes in truly listening to her patients and working together to create personalized and sustainable care plans. Her goal is to provide collaborative, patient-centered care that meets each person’s unique needs, values, and goals. Keila strives to be approachable, attentive and a trusted partner in your long-term wellness. She is dedicated to supporting each patient through personalized, collaborative care and looks forward to helping them achieve their health goals.

Keila earned her master’s degree in nursing from Duke University, graduating with high honors from one of the country’s top-ranked nurse practitioner programs, where she is also currently pursuing her doctorate in nursing practice (DNP). Earlier in her academic journey, she completed a graduate research fellowship at the University of Connecticut, where she co-authored a peer-reviewed publication on molecular biology and earned a master’s degree in plant molecular biology. Being fluent in both English and Spanish, Keila enjoys building strong, respectful relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds. Outside of work, she finds joy in spending time with family, hiking, reading and traveling.
