Karina Neves, APRN

Karina Neves, APRN, is a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner working in the sleep medicine department at Bridgeport Hospital. She is committed to delivering exceptional, evidence-based care with a strong foundation in critical thinking, patient advocacy, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Karina’s nursing experience includes extensive work in the cardiac ICU, and she is guided by core values of respect, service, teamwork, and gratitude, and is driven by a deep desire to support patients and families through complex health challenges. She received her master’s degree from the University of Connecticut (UConn) and is board-certified in adult gerontology by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN). On a personal level, Karina enjoys traveling, hiking, sampling different types of cuisine and spending time with family. In addition to English, she is fluent in Portuguese.
