Heather M. Huribal, MD

Heather Huribal, MD, a board-certified endocrinologist, comes with a unique medical background, as a previous nurse and nurse practitioner before pursuing the incredibly rewarding field of endocrinology. Dr. Huribal treats the entire breadth of endocrine care from adrenal adenomas, diabetes, weight management, panhypopituitarism to hypothyroidism. She has a passion for patient education to ensure personalized, effective and safe care. She enjoys empowering patients to make critical healthy choices that will allow years of good health.

Dr. Huribal deeply cares about patients feeling comfortable with treatment options to maximize their health and firmly believes in teamwork with patients to ensure successful treatment. Proponent of diabetes technology, she encourages patients to take an active role in their diabetes. She is committed to providing evidence-based excellent care matched with consideration of patients’ needs and concerns. Dr. Huribal earned her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, and fellowship at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla, California. She is board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology and metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). Dr. Huribal has earned her prestigious Fellow of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology distinction (FACE) in recognition of her achievement and leadership in the field of clinical endocrinology. She adores her family and loves all outdoor activities with them.
