Erin Nozetz, MD

Erin Nozetz, MD, a board-certified pediatrician and associate director of the Pediatric Lead Toxicity Clinic at Yale New Haven Children's Hospital, loves caring for children over the course of their lives and collaborating with parents and families. Dr. Nozetz has a particular interest in preventive medicine, specifically discussion around healthy lifestyle choices. “Children continue to inspire and amaze me on a daily basis,” she says. Dr. Nozetz tells children battling serious illnesses that, “we are a team, you and I, and we will get through this together". Her priority is the continuity of care throughout the healing process. “I work hard to ensure that my patients know who I am and feel comfortable returning to see me,” she says. In addition to general pediatrics, Dr. Nozetz has an interest in lead toxicity, medical education and integrative medicine with a particular interest in herbal medicine.

Dr. Nozetz earned her medical degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Syracuse College of Medicine. She completed her internship at Yale New Haven Hospital and her residency in pediatrics at Yale New Haven Children's Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Nozetz has been on the Yale School of Medicine Faculty Honor Roll multiple times in addition to being a scholar of the Academy of Pediatric Integrative Medicine (APIM) and a medical education scholar at the Yale Center for Medical Education. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading historical fiction books and traveling to new places. She is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and is fluent in English and French.
