Arslan Johnghar, MD

Arslan Johnghar, MD, FACC, is a board-certified cardiologist who treats adults with a wide range of cardiovascular diseases. His approach is to form a collaborative partnership with patients to treat their cardiovascular condition. Whether it is abnormal heart rhythms, coronary artery disease/atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, congestive heart failure, hypertension, or cholesterol issues, his focus is providing high-quality, evidence-based care. He also has board-certifications in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He has been practicing in Connecticut since 2017.

Dr. Johnghar graduated from Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey. He completed his residency and cardiology fellowship at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Johnghar sees office patients in Trumbull and Shelton and performs rounds at Bridgeport Hospital. He enjoys spending time with his family and pets and is also an avid runner.
