Arlene Gutman, MD

Dr. Arlene Gutman completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Bridgeport Hospital, where she was invited to continue as an attending physician. She provides comprehensive care in both gynecology and obstetrics, managing a full spectrum of women's health needs from preventative care such as pap smear, STI screening, perimenopause and menopause, family planning, preconception counseling, contraception planning including Nexplanon, IUD insertion and removal, to the management of abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, and adenomyosis. In obstetrics, Dr. Gutman cares for both low- and high-risk pregnancies and is active on labor and delivery as well as in the surgical and outpatient setting. She is passionate about building long term relationships with her patients and supporting them through every stage of their reproductive health. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Gutman, is committed to providing accessible, patient centered care to diverse communities.
