Alicia Colquhoun, APRN

Alicia Colquhoun, APRN, a board-certified family nurse practitioner, loves primary care, as she gets to follow the care of her patients through their life span and provide holistic care. Alicia enjoys seeing their health change from acute illnesses to recovery and finds fulfillment traveling alongside each patient through their health journey, celebrating victories of improvement big and small. Coming from a background in emergency medicine where you treat and care for someone and then send them home, she loves where she’s at now. Alicia has an interest in acute illnesses and disease management, like hypertension and high cholesterol.

Alicia earned her master’s degree in nursing and is pursuing her doctorate in nursing from Chamberlain University. In her free time, she is a certified emergency nurse, and when she isn’t working, she enjoys exploring different cultures through their food, music and art. She is fluent in English and Jamaican Patois. Alicia is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
