Yale New Haven Health’s Bridgeport Hospital to open COVID-19 vaccination site at University of Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, CT (Feb. 11, 2021) – Yale New Haven Health, in partnership with the City of Bridgeport, will open a COVID-19 mass vaccination site for the public at the University of Bridgeport’s Wheeler Recreation Center, 400 University Ave. on Friday, Feb. 12. The site has the capacity to administer more than 1,700 vaccine doses per week and will operate seven days a week, from 8 am - 8 pm, while supplies are available. Appointments are required. Yale New Haven Health also provides COVID-19 vaccines by appointment at the Parsons Center Gymnasium in Milford in partnership with the City of Milford. The COVID-19 vaccine is currently being offered to members of the public 65 and older, healthcare personnel, residents and staff of long-term care facilities and medical first responders.

More appointments are being added as vaccine is made available to ensure that there is sufficient supply for all scheduled patients.

• Northeast Medical Group (NEMG), 112 Quarry Road, Trumbull

• NEMG, 501 Kings Highway East, #204, Fairfield
