Outpatient Pharmacy Services at YNHHS earns URAC 4.0 re-accreditation in Specialty Pharmacy

New Haven, CT (April 30, 2021) - Yale New Haven Health (YNHHS) is proud to announce that its Outpatient Pharmacy Services has earned full URAC 4.0 re-accreditation in Specialty Pharmacy. URAC is the Independent leader in promoting healthcare quality leadership, accreditation, measurement and innovation. By achieving this status, Outpatient Pharmacy Services at Yale New Haven Health has demonstrated a comprehensive commitment to quality care, improved processes and better patient outcomes.

Outpatient Pharmacy Services at Yale New Haven Health provides a comprehensive case-managed program customized for complex diseases such as Cancer, Cystic Fibrosis, Hepatitis C, HIV, Multiple Sclerosis, Pulmonary disorders, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Growth hormone deficiency, Transplant and other specialty conditions. The specialty pharmacy team works closely with care providers to create the safest, most effective treatment program for patients; ensures timely delivery of monthly refills of specialty medications; and offers education and support from specialty pharmacists with years of experience.
