How do I get ready for my appointment?
You will be screened before entry into a Northeast Medical Group office. To the extent possible, patients and visitors must wear a health system approved mask while at any of Yale New Haven Health’s hospitals, outpatient centers, ambulatory sites or clinics. Masks are to cover both the nose and mouth. Patients and visitors who arrive with a cloth mask, gaiter, bandana or mask with exhalation valves will be provided a health system approved face mask.
To help minimize the amount of time spent in the waiting room and reception area, we are encouraging the use of MyChart to conduct pre-visit registration, collect copays and access your After Visit Summary. If you do not already have a MyChart account, learn more about how to get started.
Surgeries and Procedures
If you have a scheduled procedure, our teams will walk you through new, easy processes for pre-testing, arrival and discharge. These include using mobile device check-in and reduced on-site paperwork. You may be asked to have a COVID-19 test prior to your procedure.
We offer a wide range of telehealth services if you prefer to see your clinician from the comfort of your home. You will need a MyChart account to conduct a visit. If you don’t have an account, you can sign up for one.
