What to expect when we see you in the office

  • Phone screening 48 hours prior to appointment to briefly review some important questions and explain what to expect upon arrival.
  • We strongly encourage you to use the “electronic check-in process” on MyChart prior to arrival to reduce time necessary for face-to-face interaction to review personal information and also gives you a chance to update allergies, medications. Instructions are available from MyCharts login screen or through the MyChart App. Once you log in, the first thing you will see is the “News to Use” section with a link to a helpful tip sheet.
  • At this time, no visitor(s) are allowed to accompany you to your scheduled appointment except for patients who need caregiver assistance, but that guest will need to be screened as well upon arrival.
  • When you arrive at the office, please ensure that you are wearing a mask (cloth masks are acceptable). If not, one will be provided to you. Staff and clinicians will also wear masks during all encounters with patients.
  • You will be stopped at the entrance for a pre-screening by a staff member, and at that time your temperature will be taken.
  • Appointment frequency is being limited. We are spacing out appointments to two per hour and extending office hours to ensure our ability to clean rooms and promote physical distancing.
  • Enhanced infection control standards are in place, including the thorough disinfection of exam rooms between patients.
  • We practice continued physical distancing. Waiting rooms have been fitted with plexiglass screens and are marked to promote physical distancing in the office. Signs have been added to remind all patients and staff to maintain physical distancing. We are also reducing the number of clinicians and staff at any one site for a period of time.
