Ambulatory Grand Rounds focuses on obstructive sleep apnea

On Oct. 4, Jeff Kwon, MD, from Bridgeport Hospital’s section of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, presented “OSA: Is Treatment Necessary?” to an audience of 21 fellow providers as part of the monthly Ambulatory Grand Rounds series. The topic covered the clinical and diagnostic components of obstructive sleep apnea, its relationship with important health outcomes and a review of the impact of continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy in randomized-controlled studies.

The Ambulatory Grand Rounds series is held in the lower-level conference room at 112 Quarry Road, Trumbull, on the first Thursday of each month at 7:30 am.
