New leadership at NEMG
NEMG announces the following leadership changes.
Kathleen Madden has been promoted to executive director, NEMG ACO/Value-based Programs. Since her arrival in 2017, Kathy has created the infrastructure and a multidisciplinary team enabling NEMG to focus diligently on population health. Her efforts in HCC coding, closing gaps in care, capturing data, developing reporting, understanding the financial opportunity with payers, building a collaboration between NEMG and payers, as well as, assuring NEMG maintains its high level of patient satisfaction has led to much progress in Population Health.
Christine Hines has been promoted to executive director, NEMG Operations. Christine joined NEMG in 2014 as associate director of Operations for the Bridgeport region and has been a key operations leader in the transition to our Central Professional Billing Office, PILOT (Process Improvement Leading to Optimization and Transformation) activities, and oversight for the Community Outreach Committee. She has also been instrumental in the development of centralized services and NEMG’s capital budgeting processes. Chris will continue to lead the Bridgeport region, reporting to Peter Logue.
Monique Misra, MD, has been promoted to chief, Hospital Medicine, at Bridgeport Hospital. She has been a hospitalist at Bridgeport Hospital since 2007 and for the last two years has served as the associate director of Hospital Medicine. Dr. Misra succeeds Mahfuz, Hoq, MD, who will continue as executive director of Clinical Operations.
