Members of the NEMG Practice Optimization team attended Epic’s Expert Group Meeting (XGM) at Epic headquarters in Verona, WI, on April 25 and 26. Krista Giacopassi, Claudia Sammartano, Mindy Hink and Porter Blackburn presented their program “The Art of Engaging Super Users” at the annual conference. This was the first time that members of the team had attended the conference and feedback was very positive.
“Because our program is unique, it prompted great questions and created additional connections within the Epic community,” said Blackburn, practice optimization specialist. “I was excited to have the opportunity to discuss our Super User Program and to learn what others are doing with Epic, and I look forward to being able to attend and present at Epic in the future.”
“It was a great experience for the team and we represented NEMG well on this stage,” said Giacopassi, practice optimization manager. “I am very proud of our team and the work that we are doing. Many attendees expressed interest in starting similar programs at their institutions.”
