New — support to prepare for your child's college journey
If planning and paying for college is weighing on employees' minds, support is available through College Coach, an educational resource and counseling program that has been expanded across Yale New Haven Health.
College Coach provides:
- Comprehensive online resources, webinars and personalized assistance with all aspects of the college selection, application and financial process.
- Support at no cost to employees — and can save time, money and stress.
Upcoming presentations will cover college admissions (Tuesday, Sept. 12, 3 pm) and paying for college (Tuesday, Oct. 3, 3 pm). More information will be available soon.
Interested employees must register with College Coach to participate and receive the link to the presentation. To register, employees should visit the College Coach portal. First-time users must enter the one-time passcode ynhhcoach (case sensitive).
College Coach is part of Bright Horizons, the same company that offers resources and assistance to employees who have a child with special needs.
The College Coach program is available to all YNHHS employees. Employees with dependent children born between 2000 and 2017 and enrolled in a YNHHS medical plan will receive a home mailing about the program. For more information, go to the ESS dashboard, HR intranet landing page or HRConnect.
