Limb Preservation Program available at Greenwich Hospital
Greenwich Hospital’s new Limb Preservation Program diagnoses and treats patients with non-healing, lower-extremity wounds, inlcuding patients with peripheral arterial disease, critical ischemic limb disease, diabetic foot and ankle complications and other cardiovascular disease.
Designed as a team-based approach, the following specialties collaborate to provide coordinated patient care:
- Wound care
- Podiatry
- Cardiovascular
- Infectious disease
- Orthopedics
- Physical medicine and rehabiliation
- Behavioral and nutritional support services
The combined expertise of these specialists enables high-risk patients to be diagnosed early so they receive timely treatment to help preserve threatened limbs. If you have a patient who is at risk for limb loss, contact Eileen Curry, RN, patient navigator, at 203-321-6565.
